How much HP would a Moser 12 bolt usually rob on the dyno on an LS1 F-body?

Also this may be silly - but let's say you have two LS1 F-bodies with "equal" drivers and all the mods are the same EXCEPT one has a 12 bolt and the other has the stock 10 bolt. Will the one with the stock 10 bolt trap higher? Or would they still trap the same?

I don't think it has to do wether it is a 10 or 12 bolt. It depend's what gear's the 10 and 12 bolt have.

So with the same gears, even though the big 12 bolt may rob more HP on the dyno, both cars should really have the same power and trap the same?

12 bolt will reduce the RWHP slightly and also add extra weight to the car ~40lbs.

Both are worth the piece of mind

A buddy of mine just dynoed his car with a Strange 12 Bolt. While we were there, we discussed this and the dyno operator said that they have dyno tested before and after on nearly every 12 bolt that they have installed and the cars consitantly loose about 25 RWHP!
