Low slack differential
Low slack differential I'm curious who manufacturers a really low slack differential. I'm not speaking about gear setup or backlash. Just the internal differential components. I run a PowerTtrax (Torsen Style) 9" and it is loose. I've actually had two and both behaved the same way. My understanding is that Torsens are naturally loose and after tearing one down, I can see why. I'm thinking auburn style differentials are tighter in concept but I'm curious what others have experienced. This is all in an effort to reduce the driveline slack. Please share you thoughts.
Auburn and Eaton posi both have spider gears, so only the spider gear set and the 'lash' of the pinion to the ring gear would be all. And then there's the fit of the axle splines into the carrier.
