8.6 rear
Hi looking for a 8.6 rear axle with disc brakes from early 2000s gm truck suv
the problem in the g80 that i know is bad for preformence now i know the codes for 3.42/3.73 are gu6/gt4 but are those limeted slip ones or open diff if g80 is not mention
On the Other hand i have a 7.5 with eton detroit lock and richmond 3.73 but the 7.5Got bad name and im going manual

I don't exactly understand your question, but gear ratio is a separate consideration from differential type (i.e. open vs. LSD). G80 is just an RPO for a limited slip rear - it does not specifically indicate any one type/brand of limited slip rear (e.g. in a 4th gen F-body this RPO was used for both the Auburn LSD and the Torsen LSD, depending on model year).
In any case, why would that be "bad for performance"?
