New driveshaft?
New driveshaft? Trying to limp this thing along one more year before replacing the 10 bolt with a 9". With that in mind, do I need to go order a 3" steel PST driveshaft to get me through? Just don't want to snap it on the dyno or 1-2 shift
Current setup:
stock STEEL driveshaft
416 LS3
7.25" twin disc clutch
M29 T56
3250lb race weight
Autocross only, never gone better than a 2.1 60ft. It does get launched on un-prepped concrete, but again, it doesn't 60ft for ****

If I could post a pic of thelaststock part, i.e. driveshaft, on my sons car, you would be "OH DAYYYUUUMMMMM.. Twisted it like wringing out a wet rag. First time out the water box
He then opted for a Dennys Nitrous ready. yes it's kind of heavy. But being a 3 event car, it will see drags and the Monster Triple disc ain't no joke.
Worst part is after the d/s was done and back ready to rock again, and again first time out the water box, it broke the output shaft in the trans on the launch. It was even a cryo treated shaft. So back to Tick it went and got lucky they had a Viper shaft there to replace it with.
Dyno says it's only a 498rwhp car. LOL
