rear diff hi good morning
i am in need of some assistance
i have a 2001 trans am ws6 i have just installed a new 12 bolt by moser rear
the rear was shortened by a quarter inch
my question is that i am having trouble installing the bump stops

Ok, by shortened I'm assuming you meant narrowed? are you having trouble installing the bump stops because the tire/wheel is too close or another reason, as much detail as possible will help the community help you.

Bump stop install thank you for your response yes you are right the rear is narrowed and I believe the stock rims are rubbing
Your going to have to replace your rear wheels with ones with increased negative offset. The stock rims are too far inside toward the diff. Any change made to a component must be accompanied by changes to everything that works with it.
1/4 inch is roughly ~ 6.35 mm
Depending length of studs you might be able to use a ~6mm wheel spacer to gain clearance maybe? Or even use 1 inch spacers depending on your wheels and clearance
