Default strange question

Hey guys im not very knowledge on differentials. this is like the 1st aftermarket one ive installed. so please bare with me on my questions. i bought a 20+ year old strange 12 bolt off a buddy. he had it built for his 97 camaro. he drove the car alot, then it sat for 10+ years until he decided to part it. anyways its been in my car for a while and i found out a little while ago one of the axles is bent. its not bad but has been kinda bugging me lately ive contacted strange on trying to get some help but they are useless. the only thing i can really get out of them was that my 33 spline axles are discontinued. i can either send mine in and they can make something but thatll be minimum 6-8 weeks (which i dont wanna have my car down that long). so i tried to get info from them on going to a 35 spline and what all i would need and they ghosted me. emailed and called and got the run around. so at this point id rather not deal with them if possible. also i dont drag race or anything like that. was just a good deal on a non 10 bolt diff

i guess my main question is:
Are strange diffs strange specific or can i get other brand posi, axles, etc..?

pic of original order form. gears have been changed to 3:73 at one point

and i took the axles to a local well known diff shop to get specs since i dunno what im doing. heres what they gave me.

ANY HELP IS GREATLY APPRECIATED.

My Strange 12-bolt axle is about the same age and I also got non-committal answers from strange when I talked about narrowing the axles. Problem is their records don't go back that far so they don't know what is in it until they open it up and see

I had better luck talking with Midwest Chassis.

Phone call. I never use e-mail for questions like that. Technical discussions need live talk so both sides can learn and ask the questions they didn't know they needed to ask.

Not an axle related question. But, an experience that falls in line with the one you had with Strange. I called about a year and a half ago because my car needed a complete rear after a close encounter with a curb. I tried to get a rough estimate on ETA for a complete 12-bolt. Couldnt get any timeline at all and were quite put off when I asked. Tried via email for the hell of it and it went unanswered. I know its not the most loved company on here but, I ended up going Moser 12 (insurance paid for it anyway) with Brute after that "Strange" encounter. 7 days from birth to bolted in my car. Moser at least answered my dam emails/calls!!
