Pattern sanity check

IRS 8.8 with Truetrac and Ford Racing 3.55s.
Installing a new diff and gear set today and with preload and backlash set within spec I have the below gear patterns. It seems like the drive side pattern is well centered and the coside pattern is just slightly off centered. Tooth contact seems to be fairly well distributed between the root and crown of the tooth. Just looking for a sanity check that this looks like a decent pattern.

Every set of Ford Racing gears I've ever set up have had a strange pattern, but it's been a while since I've set up anything higher than 4.10s.

Yours look fine.

So after getting all the new assembly all finished, I have 22inlb pinion preload, .012 backlash and the following patterens. Thoughts?

I'd tighten lash up a bit and shoot for 8 or 9 thou and see if you come off the end of the gear. Definitely needs to be toward the root. Sometimes the ring gear will have the lash setting scribed in when it was matched. You also need to make sure you have proper preload when running a pattern.
