Driveline recommendations Have been told a 3" od 830 wall steel driveline will do just fine.
Have also been told a 3.5" od aluminum driveline is recommended vs any steel application.
trying to keep it under 1000 ttl, so that removes a 3.25" od carbon fiber jobber.
1350 yokes front and back with a ttl length of 48-7/8"
388 cu 2.9 whipple, 4000 lb Camaro 4l80 trans, any recommendations?
shooting for 750hp 600tq 6400 rpm max

DO NOT cheap out on the driveshaft. But there are a few great companies out there. Denny's, Driveshaft shop, QA1, etc.
If the shaft breaks, more residual damage can occur. Trans, diff, engine, floorpan etc. one small failure like this has much greater consequences due to the location.
If you know what length you need from center to center of the u-joints. I have a Denny's nitrous ready for sale. It's 41" center to center. It was on a 01 camaro that was from stock location t56 to a Moser 12 bolt.

appreciate the info, will verify dims tonight as never measured center to center of u joints but did measure 48-7/8" long as measured from 4l80 tail shaft lip seal to center of 1350 yoke on 8.5 10bolt.
32 spline output shaft protrudes 5/8 out of tail shaft hsg and can fit 5" long fully splined yoke shaft into tail hsg.

update, just measured
46 5/8' center to center of u joint with yoke completely bottomed in trans tail housing doesn't look like 41 will do, thx though.
local speed shop quoted me 700 for 3.5 alum set up including u joints and 1350 yokes.

Looks like PST for the win, right od needed for 68 f body tunnel clearance of tight tuck exhaust plus economically priced.
