rear diff specs

rear diff specs hey yall,
Im planning on Installing my LS from my 2006 2wd gmc sierra to my 1970 ford f100 short bed. can i use rear from my gmc truck? the diff i have in it now is geared low only goes 55 i want t use it as a daily driver and pull my 3300# travel trailer? Id like to insatl the LS with the 4L60 transmission and rear. can i do that? THX!!
