Default How much can it handle?

I have the 10 bolt rear on my car still. It has 4.10s with an auburn posi and heavy duty rear cover. What do you guys think this will handle as far a launching at the track? I will probably be getting some et streets or nittos for track use. I just want to know how hard I can launch it without having to worry about breaking. I just built the trans up, and once that is paid for, I will probably get a 12 bolt. But for now I just want to know what it will take so that I don't go too far.
thanks

If you lauch on ET streets at higher rpm with a good clutch, I can personally guarantee you the axle WILL break. Keep the revs to 3000 max and it will last a while...and dont just dump the clutch...Mine broke the first time I launched over 4000 rpm. 4200, let the clutch out smooth and

yeah, ride the clutch out and watch the 1-2 shift... You can also try pre-loading the drivetrain using the e-brake before you take off. As for what it will take to break your rear end...

drag radials + M6 = your 10-bolt doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell

If you're serious about keeping the 10 and playing with drag radials... get rid of the 4.10's until you get a 12-bolt. Try some 3.73's...

ur beggin for trouble no matter what you do. i have an A4, and i had one hook on nittos and BOOM!! A4's are usually easier on the rears then M6's, but i had to learn the hard way how these rears are JUNK!!!! i would not be hard on the rear.

Well the first time, I ripped 2 teeth off the ring gear on the street using Nittos..Powershifted into 2nd and boom! The second time I actually twisted the axle shaft in half just past the splines...Damn wheel was trying to come off LOL. Honestly it had to be a weak axle because that rarely happens and I lauched just over 4000 rpm...Needless to say, I try to take it easy on the axle now...my Torsen is whipped...clunkier than hell...but I'll be damned if I'm going to sink anymore money into that crap axle.
