does having bigger rear-ends affect high speed performance? i am about to go from 3.07 rear end to 3.73 on 4L60_E A4 stock monaro
-will i lose performance on high speeds like high way acceleration?
lets say i am side by side with another car like mine doing 100MPH and we both go WOT at the same time would he pull on me??
-what should i adjust with hptuners?

Well q8hp,
I dont know anywhere you could do 100mph apart from the Northern Territory on our shitty roads. However, if you did...
peak TQ is rated at 4000RPM for the OZ LS1 stock. Being able to pull away in any gear is a function of TQ. Assuming 3rd gear in an A4, RPM at 100mph for both 3.07 and 3.76 is as follows...

The 3.07 ratio will pull away from all other ratios because that is delivering closest to max. TQ to the rear wheels.
Now, from a standing start and its a different ball game. Assuming traction is maintained in all gears, the 3.76 ratio will pull away from all other gears because it multiplies the torque more and will rev. to peak TQ quicker.
