9 inch assembly & install I'm getting ready to assemble & install a 9 inch in my car within the next week. Any special tips on doing this? The 3rd member is already together...just gotta get the backing plates off my 10-bolt, and press the bearings on the axles...
Do I install the 3rd member and then slide the axles in? Also how much fluid do these hold? and is it OK to use synthetic fuild like royal purple?

just like was said...install the 3rd member then slide the axles in. Make sure to tighten the backing plate bolts adequately...maybe use a lockwasher since they can back out on you if you're not careful
