knocking noise on left hand turns???

knocking noise on left hand turns??? this noise is driving me nuts... i have a 2001 transam...every single left hand turn i make i get this knocking noise from the rearend...
ive brought it to my mechanic..and its definatly coming from the rear(he pulled the cover everything looked mint he said)
brakes, suspension...etc...look perfect he said.
i have 25k miles on the car...
its a sixspeed...
please help guys if you have any ideas

sounds like a couple things that I have gont through 1 was broken spider gear, I bet it is as simple as you are low on limited slip gear additive, I had the same problem It was a very easy fix, I just added more.

You need to get a buddy to get in the car cut the wheel and slowly get it to make the noise and you need to get outside the car,on the ground if you have to and listen for it. Try to sell closer where it is coming from.
