Default End cap for ujoint fell off

How the hell does this happen? I replaced it, made sure it was tight and that one fell off too. I don't understand how this happens. I've never heard of anyone with this problem before. Any suggestions or ideas as to what might have caused this? BTW: it's the one that mates with the rearend yoke.

lol ... yeah some of them tend to fall off very easily, no need to worry about it. Sometimes, if there's air inside the cap, it pressurizes the ujoint and makes the cap pop off. Give it a couple of turns and it should stay in there. If you have it off the car for a while, wrap some electrical tape around the whole u-joint until you're read to put it back in.

Thanks dood! I appreciate it. I got a new ujoint made, so hopefully it will hold, since it has retaining clips on it.
