Rearend BS This is my last post on the subject. I'm sick of it. I do not go to the track and I run BFG KWD's. Just a regular street tire with a whopping 321 rwhp. No DR's in the future for me.
If I do not do any clutch dumps and just feather the clutch for some satisfying street burnouts can I assume that a 12 bolt will not grenade. I want 4.11's. I'm headed to no more than 420 rwhp when I'm done modding. I've got to order then rear in the next few weeks.
Now let's assume I get either a Moser or Strange 12 bolt. It sounds like they both whine all the time. Can the whine be fixed and what will it cost. Sounds like an annual maintenance issue.
What other options are available.

If you are like me, you have done a lot of searching and reading on this subject. Here is what I know. You will be lucky if you get a rear from moser thats been assembled by them, that is quiet..... but, many a folks with the whine have taken them to differential shops and had new gears put in and set up with little or no noise. My car is in such a shop at this moment, because my moser 12/4.11,s howls like a pack of wolves. Hopefully it will be better when i get it back, and can drive with dignity again
