Default best differential

simple question what should i replace my rear with its startin to go and i was lookin at the torsen t-2r but is this good for drag racing? im looking for good corenring but improved stregnth and as much straight line traction as possible.... are the eatons any better and also any opnions on the hi-po auburns ???

Love my T2R, it helped my straight line acceleration big time.

viper u runnin a 10 bolt ... if so what you think should i go 12 bolt or will the 10 blt hold my setup will be simlar to yours except for a tci 3800 verter and possible a 150 shot down the road

Yep, 10 bolt with T2R, 3:42 gears, rear T/A cover, preload bolts, solid pinion racer. I've been beating the crap out of this rear for 2 years and not a peep out of it. Maybe I'm lucky. I've been running Nitto RII on the rear for 3 years; sticky enuf when hot. I say ( against most people ) you'll be fine as long as you don't run a real sticky tire.

You are very fortunate. I have never had any problems out of my rear but I have always been pretty easy on it and I still have the factory tires on it.
