Z06 Half Shaft Question
Z06 Half Shaft Question Well as some of you know a certain someone I know had a z06 failure a couple of weeks ago.
Maybe it is just something that stuck in my head but doesn't the z06 have beefed up half shafts. Even if it does or doesn't how many of you have heard about these cars breaking half shafts. I have not heard of any, atleast at the near stock level.

The Difference is in the actual diff and case. From what we know, the Diff is stronger with added ribs, and the gears themselves are shot-peened.
The half shafts are the same AFAIK.
In all my travels and race cars, and everything C5 related, I have yet to see a halfshaft failure other than the boots leaking and causing a mess.
