What is this?!?! About 6 months ago, I started hearing a clunking when accelerating harder than normal from a stop (therefore putting more load on the rear). But, it would not do this all the time. It would only do it when I would slowly start going on an uphill slope (again, increased load upon starting) or when I would try to get going quicker than normal (not flooring it). Now, since my new clutch setup, it does it alot more often and no one can figure out what it is. The gears are fine and nothing in the pipes seems to be loose under the car. Anyone have ANY insight on this, cuz I am really going to pull my hair out. 
Just to eliminate variables... Have you replaced the U-joints? If not that, you could have a bearing going out, or a chipped tooth on the ring or pinion, you could see this if you pull the cover off.

There are no chips off the ring or pinion, I had that checked out when I got my clutch installed, and I have not replaced the U joints. I'd heard about the tranny mount needing to be replaced, but I'm pretty sure I asked them to check that out as well and they didn't say anything about it. I'd just like to get a list of possibilities so i can specify the shop to check all of them the next time i take it in.
