"If you have a 6 speed transmission you have a 3.42 rear end, that's the only ratio available. If you have the automatic transmission there are two available ratios, 2.73 and 3.23. You can tell which one you have by looking at the codes inside the driver's door. Code GU2 means you have 2.73s, code GU5 means you have 3.23s. With the 3.42s & 3.23s you also get an aluminum driveshaft, with the 2.73s you get a steel one" -ls1.com
