Am I missing anything? I'm collecting parts to do a gear swap. I'm swapping my 2.73 geared 2-series Torsen carrier for a 3-seriers Torsen carrier with 3.42 gears. I have the following parts accumulated...
3-series Torsen diff. (used but in great condition)
3.42 Ring & Pinion (used but in great condition)
SLP install kit (part#64047) for 7.5/7.625 diff.
Reluctor Ring for Camaro/Firebird (ABS) (part#26029)
TA Performance Rear End Girdle
TA Performance Stud Kit
I still have to purchase the fluids. I also have a HPPIII to recalibrate the trans and speedo. Is there anything else I'll need? I plan on having this done by a professional sometime during the Winter/early Spring, and I'd like to purchase all the necessary parts myself so I know what's going into the rearend. Plus, it's a learning experience too!
I was under the impression that I'd need the reluctor ring since I was going from a 2-series carrier plus wanted to keep the ABS. Is this right?

You may not need the relucto rring, you will have to see when you get it done, probably not though. Also, I dont know what all is in their kit, but you should replace all the bearings while you are in there.

The installation kit includes new pinion bearings, carrier bearings, crush collar, shim assortment, and seal.
