3.23 = 2,100 at 75MPH?

3.23 = 2,100 at 75MPH?

I am nearly convinced my SS is completely stock (hell it was owned by some older people who put a "Thank you for not smoking" sticker on inside of the passenger t-top). However, the rear end gearing seems alot steeper than the 98 Z28 I had last. In OD it runs at 2,100 RPM+- at 75MPH+- . Is this rite for a 3.23 ? My Z28 was at what seemed like 1400RPM at 75MPH.

If this doesnt sound rite, how can I tell if the rear is stock?

that sounds right. 74mph is 2200 rpm.

Sounds about right for an a4 with 3.23's...the 1400 at 75mph sounds about what our M6 is doing with 3.23 gears in it right now (It's doing 90 or so before you get to 2000rpms in 6th)
