Fading diff.

Hey guys the other day I did a small burnout for one of my buddies and noticed that i only had one tire spinning, is this a sign of a fading differential? I have 3.73s and there are no unusual noises. Thanks for the replies guys.

Mileage on the rear? Fluid been changed lately? Auburn? Torsen?

Well the car itself has almost 40k Fluid was changed when I had 3.73s put in. I believe that since I have an 01 I have a Torsen. Not absolutely sure about that though.

Torsen's are touchy. Try 3 burnouts in a row, say in a real flat, level parking lot...See if just 1 wheel spins on every burnout. If so, you need a new carrier. BTW, they do not have to be John Force burnouts...6-8 footers should be all you need to do. (otherwise you could have the law show up....)
