Question Rearend Noise

I have an '02 TA with the factory diff and just recently started noticing a noise from my rear. When backing out(sharp turn) in the morning it sounds like my old '68 factory posi unit did going around corners. It seems to be temperature sensitive and I only hear it when turning hard after the car has been sitting for a while in cold weather. Should I worry or is this normal for this type of posi?

try doing a burnout.... see if you are leaving 1 or 2 strips of black. sounds to me like your posi unit is going bad.

Still spins both wheels nicely and only makes the noise the first time I take off in the morning. After that I can ride around in circles, forward or reverse with no noise. I don't remember it making any noise prior to it getting cold.
