Default Gears for my 7.5" & 7.625"

I am going to go with 3:73 Gears for my stock 10 bolt rear end. There are a lot of different names to go with. SLP, Richmond, etc. Who have you guys had the best luck with or what would you recommend? I don't race at the track all that much, just some street racing every now and then. Thanks for any input.

GM gears are the way to go. No whine if they are installed right. the Richmond whine no matter how you install them.

I have heard that Yukon gears are the next best gear to the GM gears. I am going to give then a try.

I just found a nice website with tons of gears with real good prices. www.jawsgear.com . Maybe everyone has heard of it, but I never have.

Tom
I have heard this said numerous times, but have personally installed 3 sets of Richmonds (4.56 in a GM original 12, 3.73 and 4.11 in a 8.5" 10 bolt) and none of them made any noise. In fact, my original gears in my 7.5" 10 bolt made more noise from the factory than my 3.73 Richmonds did in my Suburban.
