I guess you are one of the lucky ones... There is no way my T/A would fit un-modified, the T/A mount on the Moser housing is crooked. Have you checked your drivetrain angles to see where they are at?

Do you mind me asking what they are? I have an adjustable T/A and still can not get mine right. I have the pinion to driveshaft angle correct with the pinion being about 1 deg farther down than the driveshaft; however, The tranny output shaft is about 1 deg farther down than the pinion. I think I will have to shim the crossmember a little to bring the tail shaft down and increase the angle of the tranny. I have a poly tranny mount and I suspect that it may be thicker than the original and raised the back of tranny a little also.

Bowtie, I didn't do my install, a drive line shop did. It took a day and a half, I know they had to grind some on the TA mount. I told them whatever they did I didn't want them changing the pinion angle, and they agreed. Everything works well other than a whine in the center section.

I had a lengthy discussion with Moser about the install before I bought, they repeatedly told me that as long as I kept the OEM TA, sway bar, pan hard rod and trailing arms it would be a bolt in installation. That, as I found out was not totally true. On the other hand, it wasn't an install from hell either. Best of luck.

i have about 10,000 on my moser with 35 spline axles, detroit locker, stock tq arm bolte din with no issues at all really just had to cut the e-brake cable brackets . i find it very streetable as long as you can understand its gonna click taking turns in parking lots and may snap here and ther on a crooked take off(like backing out of a driveway whell cut all the way and then leave oppisite way). now the rear isnt even a worry on race day

I am considering doing the install at home with the help of a friend on jack stands. I know its going to be ugly, but I plan to get the Billinglesly kit complete with backing plates and fully assembled. According to them it is a direct bolt in. I guess I'll find out.

I just had a 9" installed, the stock driveshaft fits but it is only 44 inches long. I just got a Denny's Nitrous which is 45 inches long. The measurement is taken from the back of the transmission tail section to the front of the center section yoke.
