Default Ok to use V6 backing plates?

I'm in the market for a 12-bolt soon and I was wondering if it is ok to use the backing plates off a '98-'02 V6 F-body? I'll go to a local junkyard to see if I can find some if I can use them, but what exactly do I need to take off? Anyone have any pics of what is needed to ship to Strange?

They should work. The brakes on the 98+ V6's are the same as the LS1's. You will have to pull the axles out to get them off. I dont have any pictures.

After I pull out the axles, is it just the four bolts (if I remember correctly) that hold the backing plate to the axle tube? So is it just that plate, or is there anything else I need?
