newb questions
newb questions i dont know anything about gears and rear ends and all that, i tried searching but cant find anything, all i basicly know is that i have 3.23 gears and wondering if i go bigger if it will add any "performance" gains or if it will hold up better, currently i have borla cat back and a lid, in the summer im getting mac mids, ported tb, and a tune(of course)....
U won't gain any HP but u will take some time off ur 1/4 mile time. The only problem is that to get those gains u got to make sure that u will have enough traction. the higher gear numerical wise that is will give u better shot out of the hole. For example i switched to 3.73's and i can't grip for my life. But i would recomend gears cause they make the car more fun.
