Default 5/8" studs

What all is involved in this? I have the rotors already drilled for a 5/8" stud and was just wondering how much it is going to cost? Can I do it myself etc.etc.

Here are my specific questions.

I need to remove the backing plates to put my Aerospace backing plates on and will I need to press the bearings back on after pulling the axles.

What is involved in prepping the axles for the 5/8" stud. Do the axles need to be drilled larger...??

The aerospace brakes I bought already have the rotors drilled for a 5/8" stud and I am trying to put it all together. I also just picked up a Moser 9" yesterday out of a LT1 car.

I've got 1/2" x 20 3" studs in my 9". If I remember correctly the axles need to go back to the manufacturer, because of the hardness. I'm pretty sure I read that somewhere.

O.k. I have the axles out and I see now...but here is my next question. Do the axle bearings have to be replaced after pressing them off. And where is a good spot to order 5/8" studs to be pressed on new housing....????

Do you have tapered roller bearings or ball bearings? Seals are on the out side of the roller bearings and on the inside of the sealed ball bearings. Either way I would replace the bearings and seals, they are cheap like $60+ for everything.

Here is my delima now. Trying to take the hat off of the brake rotor to exchange the hat for a non-drilled rotor. Not going to come off the bolts are seized into the hat.
