Torque Monster from Hell needs HELP Ok ladies and men,
Need your help on this one...got a torque monster from hell built...and need to get the power to the ground...problem is the owner of the car wants to go with an independent rearend like out of a c-4 vette..I've tried till i'm blue in the face to talk him out of it, but he's very determined. (said he saw it done at progressive auto) Does anybody out there know which type of dana or what years would be good for this application? (if any) We're pushing about 550 ft of torque. Now let me drop the bomb...yeah, it's behind a standard
and pushing a 3100 lb car! Does anybody know of anything out there that will hold that kind of torque or the beef up involved in this?
