Default Bracket Placement on Moser 9" install

so there was a little box attached to my stock 10-bolt and when putting the 9" in there was no where to attach it. I still have 4chann abs/tcs lines and didn't know A. what is that little black box and B. I just left it hangin there for now what to you do with it?

if its the brake junction box thing I think you just zip tie it somewhere. one guy made a cheap bracket and connected it to a bolt, but most just zip tie

tell me about your install, did you buy the axle with the backing plates and new reluctor rings or not, (if its a 4 channel)
what gear ratio did you get, and tell me how you like the locker.
also, where did you get it from, and how long did it take to ship out?
Im about to get one real soon and still have to decide on the gears and carrier choice.

I definately need to check to see if I zip-tied or just left it hanging. That sounds easy enough

I got the Moser 9" with ABS/TCS provisions. I got new reluctor rings pressed on from them. I did not get new backing plates as I just swapped my old ones. I got the 4.11's (M6) and locker with 35 spline axles (not gun-drilled although I should have). 35 spline axles make the stockers look like twigs. The gears are good since I knew I was going to be putting a cam that can spin higher than the stock limiter and I really don't see myself trapping over 130 anytime soon (about 117-118 now & N20 is my last mod) The locker took some getting used to but is managable on all but the tightest of turns. It will buck a bit and make you look like you can't drive.

It came in multiple boxes and I got it all in like 7-8 days. When the posi showed up the first time it had a spool in it. I tried calling the vendor and got no response (yes someone who is sponsored here) for the longest time. Then I finally just called Moser directly and they seemed pretty good about doing the legwork to fix the problem. I got a new one in about a week and sent the other back free of charge.

mental note: when having the backing plates pressed on which are stamped "L" and "R" note that they are referencing this as L = "drivers" and R = "passanger". I screwed that up somehow and had to buy a new set of bearings ($70 + labor to cut off and re-press)
