Well i noticed that when i make a U-turn or even a sharp left/right turn i hear a whine coming from the rear end, or at least thats where it sounds like it's coming from. Not sure what it is. has anyone had this problem. BTW, it's an a4.

 

.... my dads truck did a similar noise.... we just changed the gear oil on the rear end and it stopped making the noise...... its not an F bod, BUT did the similat thing that you described.... hope this helps

yeah u-turns is where i usually heard it. plus i got new gears and was recomended to replace fluid after 500miles, and its been about 800 so that might be why . thanks
