What is the weight difference between... I was wondering what is the weight difference between 16 " stock rims with tires and chrome ss rims with tires???
Anyone know the answer???

my 16x8 10 spoke Z28 wheels w/ 235/55 eagle GA's wheigh in at 43lbs - painted wheels
i never wheighed my 16x8's w/ my old 245/50 SZ50s, i'm sure the 245's are a tad heavier... a pound or two

Re: What is the weight difference between... Man you sure do like lots of wheels. I would recomend the ones I sold you to put on the car for less weight. With those wheels on the car, spare tire/jack taken out and the back seats and one seat belt we were at 3240.

Hey, I am trying to get an accurate guess on what my car will weigh by changing the rims and also other things I plan on adding and taking off.
You see I had the SS rims when I weighed the car at the track and weighed in at 3550.
I remember your husband telling me the weight reduction yall had with stock rims and I wanted to get a better guess on what I would drop with going with the Prostars...

Re: What is the weight difference between... Now we have the ZR1 syle SS Wheels and sometime soon we plan on getting the car weighed again to see the difference. Hope you are enjoying the wheels.
