Do I need DS loop?

Do I need DS loop? If I am going to put a carbon fiber DS in? I don't think that you would have to have one but would like a response from some of the people that have dealt with them.

Why would you have to have one? There is no difference other then weight
On another note if your thinking about running it on the street you may want to think twice. My friend had one that we think a peble hit...he now has a $800 broom and a steel drive shaft

The reason you need one with the factory or steel drive shaft, is if it breaks like mine did this weekend it can do a lot of damage to your vehicle. I drag race mine about two times a month. I'm lucky that I had my DS loop in this time. I was just wondering if any one had or have heard of a good reason to have a DS loop in there with a CF DS. Like you stated about your friend that is one of my concerns.
