Default diff plug question

i need to change my diff fluid and i had a plug put into the bottom for ease but for the life of me i cant remember what to put around the plug to seal it tight <img src="images/icons/confused.gif" border="0">

teflon tape, maybe? Available at any hardware store.

i thought about that but at the Track the 9" gets hot and i didnt know if that will be enough

Shouldn't be a problem. That Teflon tape holds up pretty well. <img src="images/icons/smile.gif" border="0">

Teflon tape should be fine....if you want a super seal go to the Yamaha shop and get the silver Yamabond...$13 a tube but I've used it on two TA covers without a gasket with zero leaks or weeps....super stuff.
