Default Popping noise in front end

When driving slowly through a parking lot, my 2002 SS makes a popping noise in the front end when I steer sharply. It is worse when the car is cold, and it is getting worse the more miles I put on it. At first it didn't bother me too much, but now I think it may be something coming loose in the front suspension or steering assembly. Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks for any help you can give me. PL

swaybar endlinks are a good thing to check. They are cheap too.

Try your control arm bushings.
