Doing M6 swap few ?
Doing M6 swap few ? okay my number one concern is my rear end I need to get 3.42 or 3.73 but i have a 2 series carrier. What is the major downside to these thick gears and has anyone had experience with the richmond spacer ring. I need to know what the downside to thick gears is compared to a 3 series carrier design. Also what is the downside to running an m6 around with 2.73's. I would imagine that thing would be a bitch to get moving when stopped on a hill and sounds like a lot more strain on the clutch. Need some help here.

well i think thick gears are stronger then the other gears but not sure so no problem there.
why its not a good idea to run a m6 with a 2.73 is because the first gear is to high(numericaly lower) 2.56 compared to the autos 3.07. thats why m6s came with the higher gears to start
and i say get atleast some 3.73 but 4.10 is best for a m6
you have an extra overdrive gear so no reason why not to go with 4.10
