Rearend Info?
Rearend Info? Is there anywhere that i can find information regarding the difference between spools, lockers, etc. and gear sizes and all that and how all of this factors into street driveability or trackability. Especially regarding results of different component combinations in a4 or m6. I dont know **** about rearends and gearing.
There are a lot threads in here on those topics. Just pop spool or locker into the search and you'll get a ton of hits.
Pretty rare for a A4 to need a locker or spool. A good posi in a 12 bolt or 9" does the trick for most street cars. What are you running and what are you planning to do?

I just want to know everything for future reference, i don't plan on doing any mods for atleast another month but i want to know what my options are well before i am ready to do it. I just want general information, nothing specific to my car right now.
