Breaking in new gears?

Can someone explain the break-in process to me for new gears? I just picked up my car with 3.73s today and I haven't hammered on it yet.

I've heard wait 500 miles and then change out the diff fluid. Any other suggestions? Can I go out tonight and beat on it? <img src="graemlins/burnout.gif" border="0" alt="[Burnout]" />

I think it's three heating cycles. So you'll have to drive around and then let it completly cool down. You'll have to do this 2-3 times. Correct me if i'm wrong guys.

The instructions I got from Strange were five 50 mile heat cycles. You want to drive on them long enough to get them fully hot and then let them cool down for a minimum of 30 minutes. I would try for at least five 25 - 30 mile heating cycles and 250 miles total before getting on them.
