Vibration with rubbing noise under partial load!

I have been getting a loud rubbing noise under partial load. For instance I'm going 70 and give it a little more gas it will make a noise like a tire rubbing or a chair being drug across a wooden floor. It's drivibg me nuts. Anybody have similar problems on their F body? Help me out please.

Could be your lock-up converter clutch surface has glazed and is not holding. A sign of that is your rpms creep up by an extra few hundred rpm even though the converter is locked.

My rpms aren't creeping at all. It seems to be coming from the rear part of the tranny or rear diff. I will check my tranny mount and see if that may be the culprit.
