How many quarts?
How many quarts? How many quarts of gear oil does the differential take ona 2001 TA (stock)? I put in one quart then gear additive and then putting in the second quart most of it came out? Someone clarify how much I need and why did the oil come out?
I just keep pumping until it starts to come out.. and I never really know how much it takes since I have to refill the bottle and pump in more fluid till I'm done. Best bet would to check after a good drive.
Fill to overflow is correct however, if you put it in too fast the oil is so thick it gathers near the center section and doesn't flow everywhere. Therefore, in about a hour you'll be low and you could burn some **** up possibly. I just like to make sure with my stuff ya know.
