12 bolt owners , within!!!
it seems like the universal joint is a tad wider than the seat it's supposed to fit in. anyone have any ideas on how to remedy this situation???
i really don't want to take the yoke out and machine it down to fit the universal joint, so please , if anyone has an idea , let's hear it.
thanks

You probably have the bigger yoke to. I'm sure some here know the part numbers... it a "splicer" universal. I'll kick around a see if I can find it.

"U-1602 yoke, with cross-over U-joint. You need to specify what driveshaft you are using so they can supply the correct u-joint. OEM steel driveshaft uses Precision #447; OEM aluminum shaft uses #348."

Depends on which yolk you ordered with the Moser 12-bolt. The standard one is the 1310 yolk, which actually has smaller bearing cups than our stock driveshaft. Thats not really a bad thing though, because the interal forged part is the same as our stock one. The upgraded yolk (you would have paid about $35 extra) is the 1350 series. Larger U-joint than our stock one.
For the 1310, you need a Precision 372
For the 1350, you need a Precision 447
