readjusting a gear set Installed a Motive 3.73 ring and pinion gear set and a TA Girdle. Install went well and the gear set was pretty quiet.
Drove the car easy for about 300 miles with about 10 heat cycles of 20 minutes driving followed by a complete cooldown.
After a couple of rolling WOT runs after 300 miles the gears began to whine. Can the ring and pinion be readjusted to remove this whine?

Doubt it. Sounds like something shifted in the setup. Pull it back apart and recheck your pinion bearing preload, carrier preload and make sure everything is tight. My money is on the pinion bearings being loose.
