Any suggestions on this type of whine?
Any suggestions on this type of whine? I have Motive 4.11's in my 12 bolt and they are pretty much quiet from 0 - 40 then they start to whine. Not as bad in third but loud in 4th and on. If I let off they get quiet as a mouse no matter what the speed. Anyone have an idea what would cause this?

4.10 + 12 Bolt + Track = Whine
Mine is so bad, that when I have to travel more than an hour to the track, I will rent a UHaul Car Trailer instead. The howl/whine makes my ears ring and I just can't take it for too long.
Check the pattern. I would usually say a drive side whine like that is from improper pinion depth. Unless it was quiet when initially installed, then they may have been tweaked at the track.
