M6 I assume? What kind of 60's were you running? Did you dump it?

Too bad a good rear end is so expensive.

I've heard the new SSR with the 6-speed comes with a 14 bolt rear end, I wonder what it would take to get one in a f-body.

If you accelerate hard in a corner and you can feel a bit of grinding from the rear, does this mean it's about to blow? Whatever it was, it's happened a few times to me, and it does NOT feel normal at all. Glad I got an extended warranty to 100k!?

It's the carrier. The gears inside are grinding because they are shearing off. Get it fixed.

Yeah... call me crazy but it will be a big sense of satisfaction for me.

Then I won't have a car for a while though. How much to 12 bolt rear ends cost anywho?

DR's are the killer on OEM 10bolts IMO, and I am in agreement with EVERYONE!

$2300 for rear
$100 kit
$50 tuning
$400 install

Yup, looking at about $3000

I just ran some 1.64 60's on the stock rear. It's seen a few dozen <1.8. Gotta love having an auto at the track.
