Default Ebrake disconnect

any tips on how to disconnect the ebrake cable????????????????????????????????????????????? ??????

I am about to lower the rear and the spring that retains the ebrake cable on the caliper is being a pita....should i just lower it with the ebrake cables then worry about it or ........ Thanks

one way: use a small screwdriver and push the tabs in that hold the retainer thingy on for the ebrake cable. then you can take the cable loose and the easy remove it from the lever

second way: use a big screw driver and pry the lever ALL the way over and you should be able to unhook the cable
