Diffrential Oil change?

Diffrential Oil change? It says 37500 miles is the time to change your diffrential oil in manual. Did you guys change it? is it important? what kinda oil would u suggest? Do I need to know some tricks before I get under the car?
I changed mine. It's worth it IMO. I used Red Line 75w90. You need to unbolt the diff cover to drain the fluid. Buy a new cover gasket and then bolt the cover back on. Pull out the plug on the side and fill up until oil starts coming out, about two quarts.

so what are other good gear oils to use. what weight is optimal to use. i know that the 75w90 is recommended. What is the other weight that is available for use and why is 75w90 recommended? also, i have a MAC differential cover. should i get rtv sealant when i go to put it on and use allen bolts? TIA
