Is a small clunk normal for 4.10s?
I recently installed 4.10s in my 10 bolt and the measurements were to specs. When I first pull away I get a small clunk in the rear. I think it is just the rear taking away the lash in the trans and rear as I pull away and is just amplified by the 4.10s. Is this a posibility? Is this normal? Only does this in a forwad gear, not reverse. If something were loose, I would think it would do it in reverse too. I have put a few 100 miles on it with no problems, including some hard launches. They do wine, but not tearibly.

Thanks for the responce. Checking the torque arm and trans mount is a good idea. It feels more rearword though. But I will check. I am taking the car to the track tonight with some stickies, so I just want to be sure everything is good.

Thanks man. I really appreciate your wisdom with this. My car only has 28K with a fully built 10 bolt so I should be OK. I do have an M6 too. I also have a line lock to pre load it, so I think I should stop sweating.
Thanks Again!
