Moser 12 bolt guys Does the stock swaybar fit since the axle
housings are bigger?
what size are the bolts that are used for the torque
arm.(on my 01,it's only 2 bolts that go all the
way through with nuts on the bottom.)
I will need 4 bolts that thread in the housing,
are they stock bolts for a 98?
I have to call moser tomorrow.I hope I can put
reluctor rings on the axle so I can keep my
ABS/ASR.If not, pull the ABS out and save some weight. <img src="gr_grin.gif" border="0">

Re: Moser 12 bolt guys You need 3" U clamps for the swaybar, and you will have to mod the bracket in a vice to accept the 3" U bolt. 4 new bolts for the torque arm should be included from Moser.

Re: Moser 12 bolt guys I bought the Spohn mounts when i had the moser in my Z. they come with longer endlink hardware too. It's kinda pricey, around 80 bucks powdercoated, but it doesn't look afro-engineered either. Very nice and STURDY too.
Hell, you just spent 2K. Why bitch about another 80?
I gave the link hardware to a bud who didnt have it, and sold the mounts today to a guy who installed one local.
It's worth checking into, IMHO

Re: Moser 12 bolt guys Yeah that would be me that 02 Hawk sold the mounts to. 3" Muffler clamps work the same way too and will work if you don't buy the larger end links - they're at the very least a temporary solution.
Chris, I couldn't fit the mounts under the sway bar with the current end links, I'll have to get those from spohn before I can use the brackets, I did use the poly bushings and the new saddles though which worked out nicely.
Don't bother looking for U-Bolts at a hardware store, I tried that, didn't work, 3" muffler clamps from carquest fit perfectly.

Re: Moser 12 bolt guys 3" exhaust U-bolts worked just fine after modifying the stock U-bolt ends to fit them like JSears mentioned. It took me a whopping 5 minutes to widen them by smashing them in a bench vise, then just bend the tabs down a bit so they are flat again. Fits perfectly, and looks stock. No need to spend $80 to mount the factory swaybar, save that money for if you ever decide to upgrade to a better swaybar.
