Default Benefits of a Line-Lock?

Thinking about getting a line-lock, but wanted to get some feedback from current users.

What do you think? Worth the money, easy to install? Main benefit?

Thanks for your help.

Peace.

What do you think?
It is good for roasting your tires and not worrying about your rear brakes. <img src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" border="0" alt="[devil]" />

Worth the money, easy to install?
I say it was worth it. Some say it is not, it is up to you to decide. <img src="graemlins/gr_punch.gif" border="0" alt="[fight]" /> I got Thunder Racing's kit, very easy to install. <img src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" border="0" alt="[judgement]" />

Main benefit?
Helps you heat up you drag radials or slicks at the track ... or to show off to you friends without having to hold the brakes. <img src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" border="0" alt="[devil]" />

My sentiments exactly, right down to having used Thunder's install kit.

If you never installed a LL before or are not experienced with electrical and braking systems (like me) it may look intimidating (it did to me), but it turned out to not be at all difficult.

Time-consuming, yes. But not difficult.

Maybe I should write up a web page with a how-I-did-it...

Ok, I'll start working on it. But it'll take a little while. MCSE tests have to come before the F-Body stuff

If you have an M6, the line lock is also handy on steep hills. You can engage it, and then when your car starts to pull forward, let go of the line lock button. No more rolling down the hill trying to jump from the brake to the gas when you are on some serious hills.

But usually you only use it to light up your tires before a race.
