Hal Shock ?
Hal Shock ? I want to lower my car about an inch all the way around. My ? is.....will the Hal shocks work with lowering springs? I know you can use them with the factory springs but what about this setup?My 2000 Z28
Re: Hal Shock ? The HALs (now called QA1 instead of HAL) are even better than you think. You can ditch your front lowering springs and just use the HAL front springs that go with the shocks. The front ride height is fully adjustable with the HALs, you simply turn the spring stop a few threads at a time (the entire body is threaded on the OD) until you get the height up front that you want. The rear shocks simply replace the stock shocks, so your rear lowering springs will remain at the same height as before the HALs.
